The Cotswold Eco Company is a small family-run business focusing on providing a specially selected range of sustainable gifts, goodies and essentials for you and your family. We want to help you on your quest for an eco-friendly, zero-waste and plastic-free life.
We work with numerous other independent businesses to offer you the best sustainable products available. This results in a carefully curated range of sustainable, zero-waste and plastic-free products that really work. Our family personally use everything we sell and we only list what we can fully endorse.
We have specifically chosen suppliers that we trust, who have values that align with our own, to offer a fantastic range of environmentally conscious products for the whole family. We’ve done the research on products that work, are eco and ethical as well as being affordable, so you don’t have to.
Our mission is to source everyday eco-essentials and gifts that are not just sustainable but have a lovely aesthetic, are affordable and of great quality. We believe a more ethical and sustainable lifestyle shouldn’t cost the earth.
We have researched extensively to ensure that the products we sell are sustainable, ethical and with a minimal carbon footprint. It is important to us that we work with UK based businesses, so we can in turn support other local families like ourselves, preferably with products manufactured in the UK. Where UK manufacture is not possible, you can be assured that we only work with companies who ensure that their products are ethically and sustainably produced to the very highest of values and standards.
Any new packaging we use is recyclable, mostly recycled and always plastic-free. We use phenol-free labels and even the stickers we use are made from recycled paper!
We try to re-use packaging from suppliers (or donated from neighbours) wherever possible, so if there is plastic on your 'pre-loved packaging' then please know that it is being re-used, rather than being thrown away.
Our primary courier is Royal Mail, as recommended by the Ethical Consumer magazine.
We started our own eco journey by making small swaps and slowly we are making more steps towards living more sustainably. We'd love to hear from you, so if you spot any opportunities for us or there are any products you'd love for us to stock, then please do get in touch!
