This facial konjac sponge is the perfect way to give your skin a deep, yet gentle cleanse. This sustainable-sourced sponge can be used on its own or paired with your favourite cleanser for a gentle exfoliation. 

Traditionally used in Korea, this 100% natural and biodegradable sponge is derived from Konjac plant root and is suitable for all skin types.  The roots have to be immersed in water and undergo temperature changes and then shaped into the desired sponge, they harden as they dry. 

This zero-waste sponge is a vegan, sustainable and compostable alternative to plastic or sea sponges.

Your sponge will arrive without excess packaging.

Half sphere with a diamater of 6cm (8cm hydrated).

How to Use

For first use, leave the konjac sponge in warm water for 3 to 5 minutes until it softens. Between uses, rehydrate by simply running the sponge under warm water.

Once the Konjac sponge has become soft, gently squeeze out any excess moisture and massage your face in a circular motion with or without a cleanser.

Care Instructions

After each use rinse the Konjac sponge thoroughly and wring it out gently (do not twist it). Allow to air dry naturally between uses.

Your sponge will last several months, with proper care, and can be composted after you've finished with it.

To purify your sponge from possible bacteria, boil it for 10 minutes in water, adding Tea Tree essential oil (on the sponge) if you wish.

It works. I hardly use cleanser but it is gentle and makes my face feel soft.
