Our UK handmade dual sided cleaning sponge has one side of pattern print 100% cotton and the other is an absorbent 100% cotton waffle. The sponge has terry towel core which is super absorbent and keeps the dish soap very well.

A fantastically easy and great value eco-swap, as each unsponge will last approximately 4-6 months before being composted! A great pairing with our Solid Dish Wash Soap.

Ordinary dish sponges are made from plastic which, when washed, release micro-plastics into our water systems. This handmade unsponge is made from cotton and is environmentally friendly compared to commercial sponges.

Product Info

Due to the handmade nature of these sponges there may be slight differences in colour and pattern positioning. There may be some shedding of fibres for the first few washes and the sponge may stain over time.
At the end of its life, the unsponge can be cut up and composted or recycled with your fabric recycling. Our zero-waste unsponges are made from 100% plant fibre and are fully compostable after a useful life of 4-5 months.

How to Use

Simply use as you would a normal dishwash sponge. After a few uses, pop in the washing machine, and they're ready to go again and again! Use these to wash dishes, countertops or even bathrooms.

Care Instructions

Once you have finished washing up, rinse the sponge out and hang up to dry, this will help to prolong the life of the sponge and allow it to dry between washes.
The sponge can be machine washed at a low temperature (30C), do not use fabric softener as this will reduce the absorbency.
Do not tumble dry.
